Calibrate with Rabbit Box

To measure the rally correctly we must use the Rabbit Box, but first we must calibrate the Roadbook Designer.

Before starting to calibrate it is advisable to have the tires warm for the measurement not to vary in each of the passes while the tires warm up. To warm the tires you must drive for 10 or 15 kilometers.

To calibrate with the Rabbit Box we follow the following steps:

1- Stop at the starting point of the Calibration Section
2- In Connections select Rabbit Box v2 and connect it
3- Go to Calibration
4- Touch the odometer and reset it
5- Drive to end of calibration
(keeping the center of the right lane)
6- Stop at the calibration end point
7- Touching the “Calibrate KM” button opens a blue screen
8- Enter the distance of the calibration stage in meters
9- Okay
10- Return to the beginning of the Calibration Section
11- Touch the odometer and reset it
12- Drive to end of calibration
(keeping the center of the right lane)
13- Stop at the calibration end point
14- Check if the measure fits

If you don’t square the measurement, you should repeat steps 7 through 14 until it squares. If it does not work, it is because you have a problem with probes or box installation. You will need to do an Impulse Test to detect the problem.

If the measurement fits perfectly, it is already calibrated and we can start drawing the roadbook.
